Grassroots Mom

My mother taught me that the most powerful force in a political campaign is not money, not staff, not TV advertising, not endorsements. "It's you in your own neighborhood." Now I am trying to teach it to my kids. But somehow having my 4-year-old tell everyone he meets that the Giant Pretzel is coming for George Bush isn't quite what I had in mind.

I have a new blog

I have a new blog called Leaving Behind the PSSA: What every parent must know about the the PSSA and NCLB testing.
You can find it at http://nopassa.com

The NCLB testing is ruining America's public education system. And it's really time to do something about it.
